Appreciation for All the Support on Field Day! Shout out to Ms. Donahue & Ms. Loguidice!

Greetings Lowell,

As we look back on this week, one event truly stands out—the incredibly successful Field Day! This annual tradition was brought to life through the meticulous planning and hard work of Ms. Donahue and Ms. Loguidice. Their careful coordination ensured that everything moved seamlessly from station to station and event to event, creating a fantastic experience for everyone involved.

Our secret weapons in making this day truly special are you, the parents. Your help, enthusiasm, and unwavering support not only make Field Day a delightful experience for our students but also an enjoyable occasion for our entire staff. Thank you for your invaluable contributions.

We extend our gratitude to the Family-Teacher Organization for generously providing fruit and water, which keeps everyone refreshed and energized. Your continued support of this event each year is deeply appreciated. A special thanks also goes out to Eileen and Tina for treating all the adults to a delicious pizza lunch—what a wonderful gesture!

Meanwhile, the planting season is in full bloom in our Garden, and many classrooms are scheduled for visits next week. It’s a wonderful opportunity for students to explore and appreciate the wonders of nature right here at school.

We are also fortunate to have enriching science programs visiting us, thanks to the support of the WCF and the organizational skills of our K-8 Math & Science Program Coordinator, Ms. Kaplan. These initiatives continue to inspire our young scientists and ignite their curiosity.

On Thursday, our fifth graders will have an exciting opportunity to visit the Middle School, giving them a taste of what it’s like to move through the school as students. It’s a significant step in their educational journey.

Also on Thursday, we will host the joyful Kindergarten Picnic, one of the best-attended events of the year. Let’s all keep our fingers crossed for good weather to make this occasion even more enjoyable!

Please note that there will be NO SCHOOL for Pre-K and Kindergarten on Friday. This day is reserved for screening our incoming students, so remember to make alternative arrangements.

Additionally, Friday marks our Spring Concert for grades 4 and 5. We are excited to showcase the musical talents that have thrived throughout the year, and we look forward to ending the academic year on a high note.

Indeed, so much is happening at Lowell as we wrap up an incredibly successful year. Thank you all for your continued support and involvement.

With Gratitude,
Stacy
