Lowell Absence Reporting Form

Message from Stacy & Tara

Greetings Lowell School,

We are thrilled to invite you to our upcoming Math Night, which will take place on Thursday, May 22nd, from 5:45 to 7:00 PM. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage in fun and educational math games and activities that showcase how enjoyable math can be. It's also a wonderful chance to meet our dedicated and talented math team. We hope to see many of you there to celebrate the joy of mathematics together!

Please keep a close eye on your student's classroom calendar, as there's a lot happening at our school. Individual or grade-level events will not be included in the school-wide newsletter. We believe this approach helps to avoid overwhelming and confusing information.

We also want to remind you that there will be NO SCHOOL for Pre-K and Kindergarten students on June 6th. On this day, we will be conducting our annual Kindergarten screening.

If you know of any families who have not yet registered their children for Kindergarten, or if you have a child who will be entering Kindergarten this fall and have not yet completed the registration process, please do so as soon as possible.

Additionally, Field Day is fast approaching, and we are looking for volunteers to help make this day a memorable success for our students. If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up, and be sure to complete the CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) check that is required for all volunteers.

Thank you for your continued support!

With gratitude,
Stacy

Lowell's Math Night

We are delighted to invite you to Math Night on Thursday, May 22nd, at 6:00-7:30 PM. This exciting event is part of Watertown's district-wide initiative, where the elementary Math team visits each school to host a remarkable evening of math exploration and fun. It's a perfect opportunity for students and parents to engage in a variety of interactive and enjoyable math activities designed to make learning both interactive and enjoyable.

Join us and meet our talented team, including Elizabeth Kaplan, our dedicated Math & Science K-8 Coordinator; Mr. Stezzi, our Math Coach, whom both play a pivotal role in guiding our curriculum; and Mrs. Tatsis, our Math Interventionist, who works tirelessly to help students overcome their math challenges. Math Night promises to be an enlightening experience filled with discovery, laughter, and the chance to inspire a passion for math in our young learners. We eagerly anticipate seeing you there!
